The game is about building a medieval village. You can do it in any way, there is no prescribed form. Our place may be full of bandits who hunt people, nudists who go without clothes or people who like to hurt themselves by whipping themselves. Nothing limits us on how we will play. The AI Narrator guides us through the game and decides what will happen in our village. Will it cause an earthquake? Will the enemy attack us? It depends on him, and on our play, because he adapts to us.
The basic progression that is visible at first glance is the increase in the size of our village. We have more inhabitants and it is easier for us. We also research new technologies thanks to which we have new items such as weapons and armor. We can then attack the bandits who harassed us early on. Or maybe someone would like to set up a second village and manage so many at once. It all depends on how someone plays and the progression they will have.
The most important goal is the survival of our residents. The rest is up to the player himself to decide what he will do. In this respect, it has an open form. The narrative only adapts to it. That's why the game is marked between Narrative and Free-form. However, it is not at the very end because the map on which the game takes place is very large.
